Ian Burgess was appointed to what is the current role of Insurance & Estate Specialist in May 2000.  Located in Halifax and supporting all Atlantic Provinces, Ian brings over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, beginning his career in 1994 with Great-West Life.  Ian’s expertise involves the application of insurance products to help clients protect wealth from a financial loss associated with all too common life events, and to help minimize tax erosion of personal and corporate wealth. 

Ian is a graduate of St. Mary’s University with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, double major, graduating on the Dean’s List, and has completed numerous industry courses.
